The volunteers are needed for about 6 hours (spread between several days) at the FAS office.

Family Abuse Services also needs 4 or 5 volunteers at their thrift store. The volunteers will be organizing the donation area at the store – heavy lifting will be required. The volunteers will be needed for about 10 hours (spread out over several days).

Please make a note of this.

The Open Door Clinic of Alamance County needs volunteers to help with office hours. The volunteers will need to cover phones, work the front desk, and work on some light clerical duties. Volunteers are needed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 830-12:30. If you are only able to volunteer for part of the time, then the clinic will work with your schedule.

The boy attends Cummings High School in the 9th grade and he needs help in Algebra 1. DSS would love for the tutor to be a male student so they could also serve as a role model to the boy. This boy needs help, so he does not follow other students and drop out of school.
