Seniors: Need Money for Graduate School? /u/news/2004/02/19/seniors-need-money-for-graduate-school/ Thu, 19 Feb 2004 13:48:00 +0000 /u/news/2004/02/19/seniors-need-money-for-graduate-school/ Seniors: Need money for graduate school?

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation gives scholarships to seniors who have been accepted into graduate school beginning fall 2004 and have demonstrated financial need. These are very prestigious national scholarships, and there is an extensive application process. Elon is permitted to nominate two students. If you have a g.p.a. over 3.8, have been accepted into graduate school, and have financial need, check out the criteria and application process at www.jackkentcookefoundation.org. If you believe you are a competitive candidate for this scholarship and would like to be considered as one of Elon’s nominees, contact Mary Jo Festle (email: festle@elon.edu) before Monday, March 1, describing in a paragraph how you fit the criteria.
