D.M.A., Peabody Conservatory of the John Hopkins University; M.M., Yale School of Music; B.A., Yale University. Solo recital and chamber music appearances throughout United States, Japan, and Europe, at venues including Carnegie Weill Recital Hall, Bennett-Gordon Hall at Ravinia Park, and Palacio de Festivales de Cantabria. Participation in festivals including Ravinia’s Steans Institute, Yellow Barn, and Norfolk in the U.S. and Kuhmo, Santander, La Gesse, and Pontino in Europe. Recipient of Presser Music Award and La Gesse Artistic Fellowship. Participated in Thomas Quasthoff Workshop in German Lieder at Carnegie Hall. Served as a pianist for Tanglewood Festival Chorus of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, working with conductors John Oliver and James Levine. Studies with Robert McDonald, Peter Frankl, and Margo Garrett. Masterclasses with Elisso Virsaladze, Leon Fleisher, Claude Frank, Boris Berman, and Richard Goode.

Bach's Lunch – April 10

The �þ�� performs J.S. Bach’s with strings. With special guest soloists Gretchen Bruesehoff, soprano and Gerald O. Whittington, bass. This cantata is a setting of the popular hymn “Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring.” Audience members are invited to bring their own box or bag lunch with beverage and sing along as the chorale tune appears. A light lunch will be available for purchase ($5) as well. Cosponsored by the Elon Community Church University Relations Committee. No admission charge.

Fire of the Carolinas & elan pay tribute to armed forces – Nov. 15

�þ��’s vocal jazz/a cappella ensemble, elan, makes a special appearance during halftime performing with Elon’s marching band, the Fire of the Carolinas, in tribute to those who have served and are serving in our armed forces.

The halftime show during Elon’s match against the University of Maine is part of Military Appreciation Day and Senior Day.
