Blood Drive in McKinnon Hall – Jan. 13

January 13 is Elon’s annual winter term blood drive hosted by EV! and we are in great need of donors. Please sign up to donate. You could save a life. Also, every donor will receive a volunteer hour.

Donate blood at the spring blood drive April 1 & 2

It’s that time again! The American Red Cross needs your help saving lives. Come out for Elon’s Spring Blood Drive and save as many as three!

The Blood Drive will be on Tuesday, April 1, and Wednesday, April 2, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in McKinnon Hall in Moseley Student Center.

You can schedule an appointment online by clicking on the link below. The sponsor code is 1428.

Anyone 17 or older, at least 110 pounds, and in generally good health may be eligible to give blood.

Urgent need for donated blood on Jan. 15

The American Red Cross has a severe shortage of several blood types. Locally, supplies of type O negative, B negative and A negative blood are at less than a day’s supply despite repeated calls to donors to give blood over the past month.

While all blood types are needed, the low supply of type O blood is of particular concern. Type O is the most commonly used blood type. O negative blood can be used for all patients, but it is often essential to the treatment of trauma patients, newborns and women who are pregnant.

We have a blood drive today, Jan. 15. Please come by McKinnon Hall in Moseley Student Center to donate and safe a life.

Winter Term Blood Drive Jan. 15
