Balanced Woman Scholarship

          This year the North Carolina Mu chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon is pleased to present the women of Elon with the Balanced Woman Scholarship.  Applicants who best exemplify Sigma Phi Epsilon’s principals of sound mind and sound body will be selected as finalists for interviews.  The top three finalists will be the recipients of a scholarship which can be used to purchase text books for next semester.  This scholarship is open to current freshman, sophomores, and juniors.  Applications are due May 9th by 5:00pm to David Depman, Ddepman@elon.edu.

Sigma Phi Epsilon offers scholarship to first-year male students /u/news/2007/11/01/sigma-phi-epsilon-offers-scholarship-to-first-year-male-students/ Thu, 01 Nov 2007 20:51:00 +0000 /u/news/2007/11/01/sigma-phi-epsilon-offers-scholarship-to-first-year-male-students/ The scholarship was first introduced to universities in 1990 and the scholarship is designed to award students for their academic achievements, involvement in their community, keeping a well-balanced lifestyle and leadership rolls in and outside of the 消消犯 community. Sigma Phi Epsilon would like to award this scholarship to a college student who realizes the importance of a balanced academic, service, athletic and well rounded life. To ensure that the most eligible student receives the scholarship, neither membership nor affiliation with SigEp will be required.

If you do not have an application and you are either a male freshman or first year transfer student and would like an application, email jchiaramonti@elon.edu for a copy. Adventures in Leadership facilitators guide participants through an energizing and memorable week of camping, hiking, rappelling, climbing and white-water rafting in the mountains of West Virginia. Minimal outdoor experience is necessary, but a willingness to learn, try new things and serve others is a must! Please come to Moseley Room 224 for for more information and an application.
