We invite classes, organizations, individuals and other groups to visit the exhibit. Hours are 8:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and 12-5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, October 22-November 6, 2008.

The ReStore just moved to a new larger facility and is holding a day of Carnival fun, music and free food to celebrate its growth.  Volunteers are needed to help with games for the kids and guest relations.

community federal work study job descriptions is available from the
Kernodle Center.  These job opportunities are an excellent way to be involved in the community while still earning money for school. 

Several new agencies are advertising for student workers.  Pay scales range from $7-10 per hour, and some evening and weekend hours are available, depending on the agency.  Current agencies include American Red Cross, Boys and Girls Club, Burlington Housing Authority, Christian Adventures Youth ministry, Excel Christian Academy, McCauley Family Learning Center, Meals on Wheels, OE Enterprises, and Residential Treatment Services Thrift Store.  Job responsibilities vary – office management, tutoring, occupational training, and transportation assistance.
