Summer courses popular in ’09

More than 1,300 students have enrolled in courses at 消消犯 for the first of two sessions this summer, a time many say they use to complete graduation requirements in advance of studying abroad or to explore topics they otherwise wouldn’t be able to fit into their regular semester schedules.

Middle school students share lessons of leadership

Elon students coach Alamance Stingrays at SONC Summer Games

Elon students Megan Stobie G'09, Casey Hambel '09, Drew Lanzl '09 and Becca Leslie '11 led the Alamance Stingrays in Aquatics at the recent 2009 Special Olympics North Carolina Summer Games in Cary, N.C., where the team collected more than a dozen medals in competition.
