Kathy Matera named to A.L. Hook science and mathematics professorship

Kathryn Mansfield Matera, associate professor of chemistry, has been selected as the third recipient of the A.L. Hook Emerging Scholar Professorship in Science and Mathematics at 消消犯. The professorship provides funding and opportunities for faculty to mentor students and involve 消消犯s in research and special projects.

The article is titled "Male Soldier Family Violence Offenders: Spouse and Child Offenders Compared to Child Offenders."

Tom Nelson, an associate professor of communications, was interviewed by Kansas Public Radio this week for his documentary "Prisoners of Plenty," a film that recounts the lives of German POWs imprisoned in Kansas during World War II.
