¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ's ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Recreation is hosting a 5K run/walk on South ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ to jumpstart the Thanksgiving season and give back by supporting Allied Churches of Alamance County.

A fall semester “Garden Studio” course organized a Friday afternoon of food and festivities in the Elon Community Garden to celebrate the season.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ senior Christian Seitz received a 2015 Amgen Scholarship to research the 3D structure of molecular bases within the human nose that allows humans to detect scent.

Research by ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ senior Cecily Basquin points to shortcomings in the way law enforcement gather eyewitness information from non-native English speakers, and she hopes her work – already being shared at international conferences – will lead to improvements in the criminal justice system.

A fall semester "Garden Studio" taught by ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ faculty member Michael Strickland is again hosting a popular community event that celebrates the sights, smells and tastes of autumn.

Professor David Kung of St. Mary's College of Maryland visited campus on Oct. 26 for a lively demonstration of the way math and music intersect.

The third annual event for ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ graduate students in the Physician Assistant Studies program helped prepare the future medical professionals for aiding patients who struggle with mental health issues, poverty, a lack of education and other obstacles to healthy living.

Jasmine Bryant '15 and Negesti Kaudo '15, with support from faculty and staff in the Student Professional Development Center, were recently accepted into top master's programs for social work and creative writing, respectively.
