¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Lumen Scholar Michelle Alfini visited Rio de Janeiro to analyze the media’s lacking coverage of human rights violations prior to this year’s Olympic Games and fill the void in coverage through her website, RightingRio.com.

A 7:30 p.m. lecture in Whitley Auditorium by legal expert Danielle Keats Citron is part of a grant provided by the Lauren Dunne Astley Memorial Fund to promote healthy relationships between young men and women and prevent domestic violence.

The James T. Toney Endowment Fund in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business had been established in his honor by members of the Department of Economics; Toney died March 6, 2016.
