Alpha Phi Omega’s “Goodies for Giving” candy/bake sale at Moseley- Nov. 17-21

It’s that time of year again that reminds us all to appreciate the special people in our lives. Although appreciation should not only occur during this time, it is a common occurrence for people to feel the urge to give a small token of their appreciation to their friends and loved ones.

During the week of Nov. 17-21 (Monday-Friday), the co-ed service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega will be selling “Goodies for Giving” for $1.

These “Goodies” are being sold candy-gram style so that the sender can fill out a note for the recipient to be attached to the sender’s choice of assorted candy, cookies, or brownies.

The brothers of Alpha Phi Omega will deliver the goody bags on the Monday of the following week (Nov. 24).

On Friday, extra goody bags will be sold at the table.

On Monday and Tuesday, we will also be selling cookies and brownies at the table as well so make sure you stop by!

Alpha Omega sponsors Night At Dan Thai restaurant Sept. 11 to support pancreatic cancer research

Did you know?

Curry, a spice found in many Thai food recipes, has been proven to eliminate pancreatic cancer cells.

The ingredient curcumin, found in curry, inhibits the growth of pancreatic cancer cells.

Research is being done to discover how to incorporate curcumin into cancer drugs.

Join the co-ed service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega as they partner with Dan Thai Restaurant to raise money for pancreatic cancer research by donating to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN).

“Pie Your Professor” sign-ups in Moseley May 12-13

Alpha Phi Omega, Elon’s co-ed service fraternity, is sponsoring a “Pie Your Professor” event during College Coffee on Tuesday, May 13, to raise money for the APO Scholarship and Elonthon.

Buy your ticket(s) for $1 each in advance at the Moseley Table on Monday, May 12 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.!

List of professors who have volunteered to have whipped cream pies thrown at them are at the table!

Dodge Ball Sign Ups Oct. 29-Nov 7

North Area and the co-ed service Fraternity Alpha Phi Omega are co-sponsoring a Dodge Ball Tournament for November 9th from 6-9pm in Jordan Gym.

COST: $6 per person OR, with a donation of two cans from the team, a reduced price of $5 per person.
