Elon received a competitive 3,408 applications across both programs and welcomed a total of 86 new DPT and PA students from 21 states and three countries. Of the 86 new graduate students, 16 消消犯 alumni have returned to advance their educational journey and rejoin Elon as double Phoenix’s.

Orientation, hosted in the newly renovated Gerald Francis Center, packed in a full day of information and introductions to faculty, staff and campus resources before students dive into the semester. Unique aspects of Elon’s health science education include the anatomical gift program and inter-professional simulation center for optimal student learning and engaged experiences.

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Class of 2027

The Doctor of Physical Therapy is a three-year program that emphasizes a patient-centered approach to the profession. The DPT class of 2027 is made up of 48 new students eager to begin theory and clinical education. The average cohort GPA is 3.52 and the average GRE score is 149.

Elon’s DPT program began in 1996 as a partnership with the Cone Health Alamance Regional Medical Center and enrolled its first class in 1998 as a master’s program. Physician Assistant Studies Class of 2027��

The Elon Physician Assistant Studies Program (PA) embraces the overall mission of the university and seeks to fulfill the departmental vision of “Learning. Caring. Serving. Leading.” This new cohort includes 38 students from 13 states, some as far as California, Texas and Washington. This class has an average GPA of 3.7 and 8,211 hours in health care experience.

The Elon Physician Assistant Studies Program is ARC-PA accredited and integrates didactic and clinical education over 24 months. The program was first accredited in September of 2012. Learn more about the Elon PA program.

Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education

• Master of Arts in Higher Education (MHE):油The Master of Arts in Higher Education offered through the��Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education��builds on the strength of Elon as a national leader in active and engaged learning. 消消犯 are immersed in the study of higher education in a student-centered environment rooted in hands-on, experiential learning with a global perspective. Enrollment is full-time in this two-year, 36-hour program that incorporates study away, two internships, a paid apprenticeship, and a capstone project.

• Master of Education in Innovation (M.Ed):油Elon���s 30-hour Master of Education in Innovation (M.Ed.) is an online part-time, distance education program designed for teachers who are active educators in the K-12 setting. Educators outside of the K-12 setting will be considered on a case-by-case basis based on their ability to complete assignments and practice requirements of the program. All courses are delivered online in the summer, spring and fall semesters with a combination of synchronous and asynchronous classes. The M.Ed program is intentionally designed to disrupt practitioners��� traditional concepts of schooling and motivate teachers toward more progressive visions and praxis.

• Master of Science in Accounting (MSA):油��Elon���s Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) will prepare you to enter the job market with the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve your professional goals and gain a competitive edge in a growing and evolving field. Leave the program ready to sit for the CPA exam and prepared for a rewarding career in financial accounting, auditing, taxation and more.
• Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA)*: Prepare for a competitive career in the field of business analytics by mastering core business essentials such as marketing and management, while developing your skills in predictive modeling, business data mining, data visualization, and linear programming. The Elon MSBA STEM-certified program is designed for innovators and problem solvers who want to effect change at all levels of business. Open to people from all educational and professional backgrounds, Elon���s MSBA fits the career needs of both recent graduates and working professionals.
• Master of Business Administration (MBA)*: Designed for working professionals in the area, Elon���s part-time MBA program can be customized to meet your specific needs. Earn your degree in as little as 21 months or set your own pace. Classes are held in the evenings from 6 to 9 p.m.
• Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Analytics: The Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Analytics is a great option for working professionals in healthcare domains, general data analysts seeking a career in healthcare and individuals aspiring to enter the field of data science without committing to a full degree.��This certificate will prepare healthcare professionals and data analytics experts to transform modern healthcare through cutting-edge information and analytics technologies. • Doctor of Physical Therapy:油Elon���s three-year, full-time Doctor of Physical Therapy program emphasizes a patient-centered approach to the profession. The program immerses students in science and research while 消消犯 them the value of respect and communication. Forty weeks of hands-on clinical practicums reinforce the solid academics taught in the classroom. One hundred percent of Elon DPT students find employment after graduation.
• M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies: Elon���s 24-month, full-time program prepares graduates to think critically and act skillfully to meet expanding health care needs in local and global communities. 消消犯 will immerse themselves in a curriculum structured around active learning strategies through collaborative work with Elon���s faculty, scholars and practitioners in the field. 消消犯 emerge in two years as graduates prepared to employ the most current knowledge to care for patients��� physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs.

School of Law

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)*:油消消犯 School of Law provides students with an array of experiential learning opportunities, including full-time residencies in the practice of law and professional mentoring that readies students for success at all levels of law and society. The school���s rigorous curriculum, taught by a highly accomplished faculty, prepares excellent and ethical lawyers who have the knowledge, skills and judgment to make significant contributions in service to clients, the profession and society.

Orientation took place at the Gerald L. Francis Center on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024. Of the 3,240 applications for health science graduate programs at 消消犯, 5.5% were admitted and 84 talented health care students began their studies at Elon. These 84 new health sciences graduate students represent 28 states and six countries including several who are dual-citizens and nine Elon alumni.

During Kohn’s remarks, students received acorns as they learned about the symbolism of the oak at 消消犯. Elon is Hebrew for “oak,” with the university’s students typically receiving an acorn as they begin their time and Elon and an oak sapling as they graduate, symbolizing their growth. ���Pay attention to your beginnings, but also think ahead on how you progress after graduation,��� Kohn said, emphasizing the importance of mentorship and connection post-graduation. The students were divided by program and began their first day of classes that afternoon.

The 46 students in the program’s Class of 2026 have an average GPA of 3.56 and an average GRE score of 300.��Elon���s Doctor of Physical Therapy program has built a reputation for excellence since its creation in 1996 and enrolled its first doctoral students in 2003. In 2016, the program was reaccredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy (CAPTE).

Physician Assistant Studies Class of 2025

The newest Physician Assistant Studies cohort, the Class of 2025, consists of 38 students with an average GPA of 3.70 and 6,800 health care experience hours. 消消犯 enrolled the program’s charter class in 2013, making this cohort the 12th class. The Physician Assistant Studies program achieved a milestone in 2016 when it gained recognition and continued accreditation by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, the national accrediting body.
