The story, ย highlights the firing of the University of Wisconsin System due to what the regents described as unclear policy around AI.
โThis is what chaos looks like. Itโs hard to be a leader in chaos,โ said Rainie, who has studied the use and perceptions of AI on campuses. โThere is no consensus at all about what are the right things to do.โ
Rainie noted that faculty members are also eager for guidelines telling them what they can and cannot do.
