¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ to cancel in-person classes between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. March 16

Due to a tornado watch in the area, in-person classes at the ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ main campus are canceled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, March 16.

In-person classes occurring between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. will be canceled at the Elon campus location, Monday, March 16.

There is a tornado watch issued for our area until 2 p.m. on March 16 and the storm front with thunderstorms and the possibility of high winds is expected to pass through between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Individuals are encouraged to remain indoors as the storm passes through, with high winds that can result in falling branches and limbs.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ should check with instructors for further information about alternative plans, which could include the option for online meetings during the scheduled class time, out-of-class activities, readings, or other assignments.

Directors of programs in Greensboro, Charlotte, or other national campus locations communicate directly with affected students and faculty about any weather-related impact to operations and classes at those locations.

Employees are also encouraged to shift any meetings online or consider canceling so you can remain in place during this time.
