Chief prosecutors and anticorruption investigators from the Eastern European nation visited Elon Law as part of a weeklong professional program sponsored by the Congressional Office for International Leadership.
Five accomplished attorneys who protect the integrity of Moldovas civic institutions toured 消消犯 School of Law and met with faculty and students as part of a weeklong visit to the United States for a professional exchange program.

With assistance from an interpreter, the delegation shared with Elon Law students and faculty in a lunch hour program details about their responsibilities investigating corruption in the former Soviet republic nestled between Romania and Ukraine.
The Rule of Law served as the theme of the October 14, 2024, visit, which included a tour of the law school for:
- Igor P. Maximenco, senior investigation offices for exceptional cases, Northern Territory General Directorate
- Ion Nicolae Covalciuc, chief prosecutor, Office of the Prosecutor General of Moldova in Balti Municipality
- Veaceslav A. Toderita, deputy chief prosecutor of the Chisinau Municipality Prosecutors Office and deputy head of the Central Office
- Ion Nicolaev, principal integrity inspector in the Security, Audit, and Integrity Control Service
- Olga Ivan Marcova, senior criminal investigation offices for exceptional cases, Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Southern Territorial General Directorate
