Weekly meetings in the Department of Physics and Astronomy returned with a special focus on student clubs.
The newly renamed Department of Physics and Astronomy greeted the beginning of the school year with the return of the weekly Astro/Physics Tea gathering.
The first Tea of the new year featured representatives from student clubs, including the Society of Physics ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ, Astronomy Club, Rocket Phoenix, Phoenix Racing Team, oSTEM, Undergraduate Research Student Association and E2 Elon Engineers. ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ interested in learning more about these clubs can go to to learn more.
Hosted weekly by the Department of Physics and Astronomy, Astro/Physics Tea promises engaging discussions, thought-provoking ideas and a delightful spread of refreshments. Open to all students, faculty and staff, this gathering is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow physics aficionados in a relaxed and informal setting. Meetings take place in the third-floor lounge of Innovation Hall at 3:20 p.m. on Wednesdays.
