Steve Danford, co-founder of the Three College Observatory and emeritus professor of physics and astronomy at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, recently spoke at the weekly Astro/Physics Tea. This observatory, which is organized and funded by UNCG, North Carolina A&T State University and Guilford College, is located in Alamance County making ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ the closest institution to the physical facility.
In addition to a history of the observatory and its instruments, Danford invited Elon students and faculty to visit the observatory and volunteer at the monthly public events.
