An Elon Law residency-in-practice with the global apparel company introduced Kionie James L'21 to corporate and intellectual property law while providing an opportunity to present research on ways to avoid cultural appropriation in fashion lines.

On May 5 from 4 to 5:15 p.m., the Center for Design Thinking and the Center for Leadership are hosting Elon’s 2021 Design Thinking and Leadership Showcase. This year’s session features pedagogical innovations from across two 2021 interdisciplinary faculty learning communities, allowing participants to hear authentic stories of leadership and acquire learning strategies for individualized goals.

The panel discussion, scheduled for April 28 at 7 p.m., will be hosted live on Zoom and moderated by Damion Blake, assistant professor of political science and policy studies.
