Francis Edward Su is the Benediktsson-Karwa Professor of Mathematics at Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, California, and past-president of the Mathematical Association of America. He researches geometric combinatorics and he has received multiple National Science Foundation research grants for his work.

Su also has a passion for ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ and popularizing mathematics. He received the 2001 Hasse Prize for expository writing from the Mathematical Association of America. and the 2013 Haimo Award for distinguished ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ. His book, “Mathematics for Human Flourishing,” will be published by Yale University Press in 2019.
