Throughout the month of November, the ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ brothers of the Lambda-Lambda Chapter of Kappa Sigma Fraternity at ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ grew mustaches to raise awareness and solicit donations for men’s health issues in support of the Movember Foundation.
is the only charity tackling men’s health on a global scale, year round. This includes addressing some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
Elon Kappa Sigma began the month of November with a goal of raising $17,000 to be donated to the “Movember” Foundation campaign. After a full month of putting their razors down and raising money, the fraternity was able to surpass their goal of $17,000.
The chapter finished the month with a grand total of $19,228 raised, with the chapter ranking fourth nationally among college campuses. This is the fifth consecutive year Elon Kappa Sigma has raised over $10,000 for this worthy cause.
The chapter looks forward to next November when they will participate in the Movember Foundation campaign again.
