Artemis Preeshl, assistant professor of performing arts, was appointed to the advisory board of the Voice and Speech Review, a scholarly journal published by Routledge/Taylor & Francis.
This peer-reviewed journal of the Voice and Speech Trainers Association publishes voice-oriented research, essays, literature and performance reviews and pedagogical studies. Preeshl serves as the treasurer of the Voice and Speech Trainers Association.
Preeshl’s article, “The Virtual Voice: Teaching Voice and Speech in Online and Blended Learning Environments,” about ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ speech in the classroom, on Adobe Connect and Skype appeared in the Voice and Speech Review in 2014.
Preeshl teaches THE 326A Dialects course at Elon this fall.
