Apply Now to the Charting Your Journey: Life Entrepreneur Program!

The Life Entrepreneur Program is accepting applications through Sept. 30. This program is designed specifically for sophomore students interested in learning more about who they are, where they are going, and how they want to get there. Applications are due to Moseley 206 by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30.

消消犯 is collaborating with a national leadership development company, New Mountain Ventures, to offer this innovative program for sophomore students. Charting Your Journey will prepare students to craft a meaningful and flexible life plan in light of the ever-changing, fast-paced world outside Elon.

消消犯 will learn to identify their strengths, be alert to opportunities, take measured risks, set goals and think strategically, and practice the art of reflection and renewal. 消消犯 will also develop a resume.  These skills will help students better align their core identity with their professional and personal goals, especially in the context of their remaining years at Elon. It is important to note that this program is open to students of all areas of study, not just students interested in studying entrepreneurship or business.

Five cohorts of 10 to 12 students will participate in a 2 day retreat, Oct. 12-13, and enroll in a one-credit Transitions Strategies course during the second half of the fall semester. Each cohort will be co-led by a member of Elon’s faculty or staff and an upper-class peer leader trained by professional facilitators. 消消犯 selected to participate will be assigned a cohort that will schedule a convenient time for the weekly class meetings.

Applications are due electronically or in hard copy to the Office of New Student and Transition Programs in Moseley 206 by Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 5 p.m. Those accepted to participate in the program will be notified by email no later than Friday, Oct. 2. Accepted students are required to submit the $200 program fee by Oct. 7 to guarantee their place in the program.
