Urban Doxology Project – March 12

Join us for two great events focused on racial reconciliation and faith-based community development: 5:15 pm Presentation and Conversation and 8:00 pm Concert

Urban Doxology Worship Concert on March 12 at 8:00 pm in McKinnon Hall

is a Richmond (VA) based ministry that seeks to promote racial reconciliation and urban community development through worship and developing new music resources for churches that connect people across classes, cultures, and races.

Urban Doxology also sponsors a summer urban songwriters workshop, and two ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ students — Brooke Winters (’14) and Drew Dimos (’15) – have participated in that workshop.

The 8:00 p.m. Worship Concert in McKinnon Hall will feature new music from Urban Doxology’s band.  The ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Gospel Choir will open the concert.  The concert is free and open to the public. is available via iTunes or Amazon.

There is also an earlier Presentation and Conversation at 5:15 p.m. in the McBride Gathering Room, Numen Lumen Pavilion, for anyone who wants to learn more about the Urban Doxology Project, about the role of worship music in promoting racial reconciliation, and about faith-based urban community development.
