¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Rec student employee exceeds goals at NYC Marathon

Elon student Robin French raised more than $3,000 to benefit a nonprofit that assists New York City's homeless youth population.  

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ student and ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Recreation employee Robin French ran in the New York City Marathon on Nov. 2, 2014, as part of a team that raised money for the Covenant House nonprofit.

French said she had an amazing experience in the New York City atmosphere. She surpassed her fundraising goal by collecting more than $3,000 for an organization dedicated to protecting the rights of and providing support to the homeless youth population.

French wore Elon ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Rec apparel on the streets of New York City and thrilled her colleagues at the university with her performance.
