Amy Overman gives professional development talk at Penn State

Amy Overman was invited to give a talk to Ph.D. students and post-docs at Penn State University’s Psychology Department on March 5, 2014.

The talk centered on how to be a successful faculty member at a liberal arts/¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ-focused institution and included strategies for beginning and sustaining a research program involving ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈs, improving ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ, being intentional about service, and balancing work and personal life.

Overman is an associate professor in the Department of Psychology.
