Gap Semester students traveled to Wyoming to begin their Elon experience.
Earlier this month, 15 first-year students; Steve Morrison, coordinator of Gap Programs; and Rex Waters, dean of Student Development traveled to Wyoming to kick off the second Elon Gap Semester.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ will spend 24 days on a wilderness expedition focused on leadership, teamwork, outdoor skills, and environmental ethics with the National Outdoor Leadership School. After the students complete their NOLS course, they will see the country as they travel to four different U.S. cities to complete week-long service learning projects. ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ will finish the semester in a 6-week study abroad homestay program in Costa Rica.
