Paula Patch, lecturer in English and coordinator of College Writing, made a presentation titled "Fluid Boundaries: Creating a Meaningful Assessment of a Basic Writing Workshop" at the Conference on College Composition and Communication in St. Louis on March 22, 2012.
She discussed the programmatic implications of revising the assessment ENG 100: Supplemental Writing Workshop to better reflect the ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ and learning that takes place in the course. In her presentation, she explained how the ENG 100 faculty were involved in revising the assessment and how this involvement created a ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ and research community centered on ensuring student success in the course.
