The Elon Noyce Scholars Program has extended its deadline for scholarship applications to April 9th. Current sophomores who are interested in becoming high school science or math teachers should apply. The scholarships provide $21,900 of funding in the junior year, and $21,900 again in the senior year, for a total of $43,800 in scholarship. On a per-year basis, the Noyce Scholarship is the largest individual academic scholarship available to an Elon ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ. Scholars also receive funding for extra professional development opportunities during their time at Elon, and during the first two years of their ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ. In return for these opportunities, scholarship recipients are required to complete four years of ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ in a US high-need school district. .
