The Department of Performing Arts will hold auditions for a new Homecoming event on Sunday, September 18 at 1:00 p.m. in the Black Box Theatre, Center for the Arts. Interested students should arrive a bit before 1:00 to fill out a simple audition form. The audition will consist of learning a few simple improvisation “games” so that the director, Fred Rubeck, can select the company of 6-8 imrpov artists.
The Performance, titled “Instant Laughter – an Evening of Improv,” will be performed during Homecoming Weekend at 9:00 p.m. on Friday October 21 and 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22 in Yeager Recital Hall. Each performance will last about an hour.
¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ wishing to audition must be available for both performances. Rehearsals will be organized once the company is selected.
