The ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Mentoring Rising Talent (S.M.A.R.T.) Mentoring Program hosted its first S.M.A.R.T. Night on Friday, November 12. The event, “Career and Professional Development,” was co-sponsored by Multicultural Affairs and Career Services.

Hosts Cedric Pulliam and Pam Brumbaugh trained S.M.A.R.T. Mentors to conduct mock interviews of the first-year mentees to learn various interview etiquette techniques and practices.
The 30 student leaders and first-year students who attended praised the event. They said they felt enlightened on practical interview skills and the do’s and don’ts in preparation for an interview.
The ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Mentoring Rising Talent Mentoring Program is a mentoring program that aids first-year students in their transition into ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ. The program is conducted by the Multicultural Center and is advised by Melissa Jordan.
