¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ senior Charley Costa and junior Stephen Azar won top honors last week in the 2010 Eller Ethics Case Competition, a prestigious national contest hosted by the University of Arizona and featuring many of the top-ranked ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ business schools in North America. It is the second time in as many years that Elon students took first place in the competition.

For as long as Gary Bailey can remember, music has played an integral role in his life. Infused with passion for soul music from an early age, Bailey, a counselor in the R.N. Ellington Health & Counseling Center, and his brothers, Montie, Velmar and Tony, grew up listening, singing and playing rhythm and blues.

On Oct. 14, Christopher Waters, assistant CIO and director of ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ and learning technologies, and Scott Hildebrand, assistant director of ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ and learning technologies, presented at the EDUCAUSE Annual Conference in Anaheim, Calif.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ has launched the public phase of the largest fundraising campaign in the school’s history. The Board of Trustees voted Oct. 10 to set a goal of raising $100 million by 2011 through Ever Elon: The Campaign for the Future of Our University.

More than 250 people gathered in McKinnon Hall Monday night for the university’s annual scholarship dinner. Donors of need- and talent-based academic scholarships met with their student scholarship recipients and heard an update on the Ever Elon Campaign and presentations from two Lumen Scholars.

To kick off open enrrollment, the Office of Human Resources is holding a Benefits Fair Wednesday, Nov. 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in McKinnon Hall (Mosley Center).
