7/13: Scripps Howard Foundation Wire (via Times-News and Kansas City infoZine): Assistant professor of political science Mileah Kromer offers perspective on social media and its effects on political campaigning.
7/13: Dayton Daily News (Ohio): The Seen and Overheard blog for the Daily News profiles research co-authored by professor Laura Roselle and Elon alum Michelle Pautz ’03, currently a University of Dayton assistant professor, on the portrayal of civil servants in cinema. 7/15: Daily Tar Heel (Chapel Hill, N.C.): The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill daily newspaper reports on energy conservation efforts at regional universities, including Elon, which has seen a 5 percent reduction in energy use since thermostats have been set at 76 degrees in the summer months.

7/19: The Pilot (Southern Pines, N.C.): Junior Jack Dodson, an intern for the Pilot, shares in a first person narrative his experience traveling to India earlier in the summer with other Periclean scholars from Elon.
7/19: Runner’s World: Contributor Peter Gambaccini publishes a Q&A with Blake Russell ’01, a graduate of the physical therapy program and a 2008 Olympic marathon runner.
7/22: Religion News Service (via Huffington Post): cites associate professor Charles Irons and his comparison of today’s debate over homosexuality in churches to the debates over slavery.
7/22: Business Journal of the Greater Triad Area: reported on the Sunshine Center of the N.C. Open Government Coalition (housed at Elon) reaching its $500,000 endowment goal.

8/2010: Reader’s Digest: “Game Boys” is a short feature story on the efforts of Peter Gallagher, an incoming 消消犯 freshman, and his friend to collect video games for donation to troops overseas. (Not currently available online.)
