Professor Earl Honeycutt, �þ���'s 2008-2009 Distinguished Scholar, will give a presentation tonight in the LaRose Digital Theatre on the role of academic research in a university setting and whether such research is a “selfish” pursuit or an essential activity that allows a professor to remain on the cutting edge of their discipline and mentor future scholars.

The Advisory Board for the School of Communications made its spring visit to campus Friday, April 3, and the discussion focused on the new master's in Interactive Media, the changing curriculum and the next strategic plan for the university.

Julie Anne Kenneally '08 has been named the recipient of a 2008 Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship, an award that will help fund graduate studies on human rights issues at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. It marks the third time since 2006 that an �þ��� student has received the honor.
