DPT program enrolls class of 2011

Thirty-eight students enrolled Jan. 5, 2009, in the DPT program in the Department of Physical Therapy Education. Their enrollment marks Elon’s seventh class of DPT students.

The class has an average cumulative ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ GPA of 3.50 from an impressive list of colleges and universities, including Auburn University, Purdue University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Nine students attended Elon.

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ also have an average Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) score of 1100 (Verbal and Quantitative sections combined), nearly 110 points higher than the United States average GRE score of 993 (whose intended program of study is physical therapy).

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ come from 16 states including one student from Louisiana, Nebraska and Wisconsin. Popular ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ majors include biology, exercise & health science and sports medicine/athletic training.
