Peter Felten, director of the Center for Teaching and Learning, presented twice at the October 27-30 POD Network conference in Milwaukee. His papers, co-authored with colleagues from Vanderbilt and Ohio State respectively, focused on peer mentoring in ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ research and on new approaches to the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. Felten also was named program co-chair, with Therese Huston from Seattle University, for the 2006 POD conference in Portland, Oregon.
The POD Network is an international association dedicated to enhancing ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ and learning in higher education. Many POD people are faculty or staff in university ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ centers.
