A labyrinth patterned after one found in Chartres Cathedral in France will be on display from 1 p.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, Nov. 14-16 in McKinnon Hall on the campus of ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ. The display is open to the public.
Individuals may walk through the labyrinth, which is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness. It combines the imagery of a circle and a spiral into a meandering path. The labyrinth pattern is an archetypal form found all over the world that has been used for centuries as a tool for reflection, meditation and deep self-knowledge.
The labyrinth is sponsored by Elon’s Truitt Center for Religious and Spiritual Life.
