Dr. Lucy Steinitz, an AIDS activist and faith-based NGO worker based in Namibia, Africa will be this year’s Periclean-In-Residence from November 7 through 17. Dr. Steinitz’s visit is co-sponsored by the Truitt Center and also the General Studies Office of ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ. She will be speaking at the premier of “You Wake Me Up,” the fourth documentary created by Project Pericles; speaking with Global Studies classes; and addressing HIV/AIDS issues on campus.
