¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ in professor Hal Walker’s Programming and Event Management class during Fall semester 2003 presented a $1,000 check to the Burlington Housing Authority Thursday, March 11.
¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Rebecca Markusson and Cory Winn made the presentation to Gladys Shaw of BHA. The class organized a bowling event during the fall, “Strykes for Tykes,” with the net proceeds benefitting BHA. ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ in the class gained firsthand experience in planning and organizing an event, fiscal responsibility and civic service.
