Four ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Recreation seniors have been awarded graduate assistantships to continue their academic and professional careers.
Leslie Crowe (Chesapeake, VA) will be the Graduate Assistant for Club Sports at West Florida University; Erica Choutka (Trumbull, CT) will be attending Illinois State University and will be the Graduate Assistant for Fitness; Brian Farrell (Tampa, FL) will assume the role of Graduate Assistant for Facilities at North Carolina State University; and Scott Rivinius (Danvers, MA) will be the Graduate Assistant for Intramurals at Ohio University.
¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Recreation’s leadership and teamwork models allow students to apply the theories they learn outside the classroom and gain professional experience. Over the past five years, 15 ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Rec employees have earned graduate assistantships at some of the nation’s leading university recreation programs.
