Brief Biography

Kerem Morgül is a political and cultural sociologist whose research focuses on populism, national identity, and international migrants' reception by and integration into their host societies. Dr. Morgül received his Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2022 and served as a visiting faculty at Hamilton College in the 2022-23 academic year. He was also a Fox International Fellow at Yale University in 2010–2011, an experience that inspired him to pursue a Ph.D. in the United States.

Dr. Morgül has taught courses on populism in the 21st century, polarization and culture wars in America, race & racism, and research methods. See Dr. Morgül's for his publications.
