Cultivating Mentoring Constellations
How might we design a constellation of mentors to support our current and future goals?
Recognizing Elon’s commitment to center relationships and mentoring, this workshop supports the design of mentoring constellations. ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ generate a mentoring constellation, explore actionable day-to-day opportunities for enhancing their connections, and leave with an array of next-step strategies for cultivating a lifelong network of support.
This workshop is also valuable for leadership programs, Honors and Fellows cohorts, and Career Services initiatives. Classes or groups focused on professional development, networking, or mentorship (especially those navigating transitions or building collaborative relationships) would benefit from this workshop.
In this session, we will be covering the following topics/strategies:
- What Mentoring Constellations are and why they’re important.
- Explore current mentoring constellations.
- Identify strengths and opportunities within constellations.
- Identify areas for improvement within constellations.
