PERCS Online Ethnography Mini-Grant Winners
In the fall of 2020 we offered two online ethnography mini-grants to support student projects that used contemporary technologies of connectedness to examine communities and cultures.
Our winners were Hannah Boone and Kelly ONeil. We are excited to support their timely and important research.

Hannah Boone is an Anthropology major with minors in Spanish and Psychology. Her project, Fear For The Future:Youth Climate Change Activism, aims to investigate young peoples imaginations of a climate-change-affected future, and how those imaginations drive them to activism.

Kelly O’Neilis a Psychology major with a minor in Human Service Studies and Early Childhood. Her project, How has COVID-19 affected the Elon student experience?, explores how the changes wrought by the pandemic have impactedstudent socialization, their mental healthand overall well-being.
